FRIDAY, DECEMBER 10
JENNIFER DIAMOND
“Let Me Be Me”
7:00pm / Tickets begin at $29
How do you solve a problem like Jennifer Diamond? That’s been a recurring theme as she’s navigated a career in musical theatre. Always “a little too much of” one thing and “not enough of” another, she’s never been able to find a place to plant herself and be exactly enough. Throwing caution to the wind and freeing herself from a room at Pearl, “Let Me Be Me” unleashes the authentic Jennifer as she traverses roles she has played, should play and could play — with special guests and a full band — if only they would just let her be her. Originally intended for March of 2020, the pandemic and a new child added their own curveballs and chaos to explore. “Let Me Be Me” is written by Jennifer Diamond and Robbie Rozelle. It is directed by BroadwayWorld Award-winning director Robbie Rozelle and features musical direction and arrangements by Luke Williams. Featuring Mauricio Martínez and more. The evening is produced by Evan Sacks.

Host Thomas March’s topical monologue will cover hints from Heloise, grandma’s cooking, and fun uses for backyard bunkers. Emotionally intense and volatile as always, the show will also feature musical performances from Genesis Adelia Collado & Miriam Pultro; poetry from Gabrielle Calvocoressi and Anna Maria Hong; and comedy from Jared Goldstein & David Perez. Music Director Drew Wutke will be keeping things lively and smooth, as always.

Welcome back! Eva Noblezada is so excited to be returning to the Green Room 42 stage. It’s a very simple show. She sings songs. Everyone laughs. And we all remember how much we missed live performances. Oh, and there may be a game involving audience participation and tequila shots (if you’re of age). See you there, friend.
Eva recently starred in the title role for director Diane Paragas in the award-winning Sony Pictures film, Yellow Rose. She'll next be seen starring in Amblin's Easter Sunday. She won a Grammy and was nominated for a Tony Award for starring on Broadway in Hadestown. It was her second Tony nomination in her first two Broadway roles, following her earlier nod in the title role in Miss Saigon in 2017. She previously starred in Hadestown at the National Theatre in London after being a lead in the West End revivals of Miss Saigon and Les Miserables. Noblezada was a high school student when she was discovered by casting director Tara Rubin at the 2013 Jimmy Awards in NYC.

New York, NY (December 7, 2021) – Jacob Stuckelman and Joseph Hayes announced today the complete casting for the industry reading of Fowl Play – A New Musical Comedy. Alongside previously announced star Rosé (“RuPaul’s Drag Race” Season 13 Finalist), the cast of Fowl Play will feature Michael James Scott (Aladdin), Tony Award nominee Brenda Braxton (“The Good Fight”), Nick Adams (Fire Island), JJ Niemann (The Book of Mormon), Sav Souza (1776), Kate Loprest (“Boardwalk Empire”), Chris Medlin (“Sweet Magnolias”), Maya Lagerstam, and Murphy Taylor Smith.
With direction by Tony Award and three-time Emmy Award nominee John Tartaglia, book by Billy Recce (Little Black Book concept album) and Yoni Weiss, and music/lyrics by Billy Recce, the industry reading of Fowl Play will be held Thursday, December 16 at Carroll Studios (625 West 55th Street). Music Supervision by Jon Audric Nelson. The reading will be stage managed by Kaleigh Bernier.
Fowl Play is a new musical comedy about two queer musical theatre writers who are commissioned to write an apology musical for a certain homophobic fried chicken corporation...you know which one. With theaters closing left and right to be replaced by Targets, Apple Stores, and fast-food franchises, the down-on-their-luck writing duo, Archie and Xander, are faced with the promise of a major payout and the rebirth of the Broadway musical comedy, if they can satiate the new CEO, Kimberly Chickadee, played by “RuPaul’s Drag Race” star Rosé. In the style of a Mickey and Judy musical extravaganza, Fowl Play is a take-no-prisoners satire about the commodification and commercialization of queer culture.
Fowl Play is produced by Jacob Stuckelman and Joseph Hayes, and general managed by Fourth Wall Theatricals. Casting is by Joseph Hayes.
For more information, please email rsvp@fwtheatricals.com.
CAST BIOGRAPHIES
ROSÉ (Kimberly Chickadee) is one of the most noteworthy and distinguished drag performers to emerge from New York City nightlife in recent years. After a wildly successful run as a finalist on Season 13 of “RuPaul’s Drag Race”, she has continued time and time again to prove that her dense and lifelong training as a competitive performer have led her to being one of the most professional and well-rounded queens ever to come out of the “Drag Race” franchise. A decorated actor and singer/songwriter, Rosé is also one third of the internationally-acclaimed drag pop girl group, Stephanie’s Child, who have appeared on both “America’s Got Talent” and NBC’s “The Voice” alongside pop artist, Jessie J. Rosé is originally and proudly from Scotland, but resides now in New York City with her cat, Julius.

Built by Tony Award-nominated producers, Eric Neal and Jesse Hornstein, Third Act introduced an NFT marketplace specifically for theatre and was a first for the theatre industry. The company’s initial collection, released in June of 2021, featured digital collectibles from the Stellar Original production, Herding Cats.
Third Act has marked yet another first for the industry, with the release of its new collection in collaboration with Brian Stokes Mitchell. Chairman of The Actors Fund since 2014, Mitchell has enjoyed a long and fruitful career both on stage and screen, and now NFTs. With this release, Mitchell becomes the first Broadway actor to digitize his likeness in the form of an NFT. This collaboration was commissioned by production company Atomic Focus Entertainment, which partnered with Third Act’s in-house NFT studio to produce the collection.
The digital collectibles will be released in conjunction with Mitchell’s interviews on “Crossovers Live!” with Broadway icons like Kristin Chenoweth, Bernadette Peters, Marc Shaiman, and more. “Crossovers Live!” is an intimate talk show streamed live and produced by Stellar Originals and Atomic Focus featuring actors who, like Mitchell, have made the jump from stage to screen. In addition to the Mitchell NFTs, a unique NFT collection for “Crossovers Live!” was produced by Third Act and is being used as digital keepsakes and to incentivize ticket buyers.
The Third Act platform boasts an incredibly simple and easy-to-use crypto experience. The marketplace lists all of its available assets in USD and users can purchase NFTs directly with a credit card, meaning transactions can be made easily on one of the most eco-friendly platforms available today: Hedera Hashgraph. Using Hedera, Third Act’s carbon emissions are a fraction of Bitcoin, Ethereum, and even Visa transactions. And a portion of each and every sale goes directly back to productions, personalities, and IP owners.
“Every producer should be looking at how they’re integrating NFTs with their next show. They’re a great way for fans to hold onto their favorite theatre moments, provide recurring revenue, and become a new vehicle for the story to continue.” says Eric Neal, co-founder of Third Act. “We made it super simple for producers to create and release NFTs.”
Third Act is in the first cohort of companies receiving support from the HBAR Foundation, a grant giving entity that was recently launched and plans to distribute upwards of $2.5 billion to projects building in the Hedera ecosystem.
Hedera and Third Act are some of the first companies that are taking advantage of USDC, a stable coin pegged to a fiat currency (USD). With the recent introduction of USDC to the Hedera network, companies like Third Act will receive a boost from the integration of the stablecoin. Third Act currently accepts fiat currency, with USDC integration in the near future.
“Third Act is the first platform of its kind specializing in theatre NFTs. The HBAR Foundation is proud to fund innovative projects that develop new use cases and reach new audiences, and Third Act does exactly this,” said Shayne Higdon, Executive Director & CEO at the HBAR Foundation. “Additionally, Third Act is a very accessible application, presenting new technology in a way that is approachable to the everyday user and encouraging mass adoption of the Hedera network.”
The decentralized Hedera network offers stable governance with no forking, low and predictable transaction fees, fairness, built-in compliance, real-time settlement, and sustainable energy consumption - all of which are driving massive adoption of the platform. Hedera is the most used, sustainable, enterprise-grade public network for the decentralized economy. The platform is governed by a council of the world’s leading organizations, including Avery Dennison, Boeing, Chainlink Labs, Google, IBM, and more. Hbar, the native cryptocurrency of the Hedera network, is used to protect the network through proof-of-stake and power decentralized applications.

ELIZABETH DAVIS: THE APPLE TREE
A concept album for child(less) play
9:30pm / Tickets begin at $29
Elizabeth A. Davis will next be seen in the ART / Roundabout Broadway revival of 1776. Until then, Elizabeth will layer her passionate folk-rock sound with a compulsion for writing stories about complicated women. The Apple Tree is a 10-song collection of songs Elizabeth has written inspired by the trajectory of her forthcoming play, child(less). Thematically tight but genre-exploratory, The Apple Tree album mixes pop sensibilities with a love for the theatrical. Come to laugh & come to cry.
This is a concept album that inspired, and was inspired by, my play, child(less). The album & the play stand alone. They also wholly belong to each other. The first song came at Goodspeed Opera House after hanging up with Seneca. I wrote out her pain until it became my own on an old piano around dinner time. The rest of the story tumbled out in messy clumps. Then the songs came closely entwined, like clinging roots to their mother plant. My hope is the specificity of the play’s narrative will somehow do that intuitive thing; where the story in the songs and the play become universal and mean something new to you that I couldn't have foreseen. These songs are for the characters that inspired them. They are also for Josiah, for Seneca, for Jordan, for Mam, Daddy and brother, for people not born yet and about things I know nothing of. They are far outside of me but each has been brought close to teach a new lesson in grace. These songs are for you.

New York, NY (November 24, 2021) – Jacob Stuckelman and Joseph Hayes announced today that “RuPaul’s Drag Race” Season 13 Finalist Rosé will star in Fowl Play – A New Musical Comedy directed by Tony Award and three-time Emmy Award nominee John Tartaglia. With book by Billy Recce (Little Black Book concept album) and Yoni Weiss and music/lyrics by Billy Recce, Fowl Play will receive an industry reading on Thursday, December 16 at Carroll Studios (625 West 55th Street).
"I’m so excited to be working with this wonderful team to help bring Fowl Play to life, not to mention working with the amazingly talented Rosé! Much like the early days of Avenue Q, it’s been thrilling to be collaborating with these amazing artists creating something hilariously irreverent, naughty, and full of heart and humanity," said director John Tartaglia.
Fowl Play is produced by Jacob Stuckelman and Joseph Hayes, and general managed by Fourth Wall Theatricals.
Additional casting will be announced shortly. For more information, please email rsvp@fwtheatricals.com.
BIOGRAPHIES
That last part was a lie — she is allergic to cat dander and absolutely refuses to be anywhere near Julius. She did have a fish once tho but it died :/

2 WEEKS LEFT TO SEE
“A COMMERCIAL JINGLE FOR REGINA COMET”
THE FIRST NEW MUSICAL TO PREMIERE IN NYC SINCE THE SHUTDOWN BEGAN
EXTENDED THROUGH NOVEMBER 21
AT THE DR2 THEATRE
PRODUCTION PHOTOS AVAILABLE HERE
New York, NY (November 8, 2021) – A Commercial Jingle for Regina Comet, the first new musical to premiere in New York since the pandemic began, is entering its final two weeks of performances at the DR2 Theatre (103 East 15th Street). The production has been playing to sold out audiences and critical acclaim since beginning performances, and recently extended due to popular demand with its final performance set for Sunday, November 21st at 7:00 pm.
A Commercial Jingle for Regina Comet features book, music, and lyrics by Alex Wyse (Indoor Boys) and Ben Fankhauser (Newsies), with direction by Marshall Pailet (Baghdaddy, Triassic Parq) and stars Wyse, Fankhauser and Bryonha Marie Parham (Prince of Broadway).
The Asbury Park Press describes the show as "A MUCH-NEEDED ESCAPE! Forget about the world and laugh.” while Theatrely said it was the "[TITLE OF SHOW] FOR THE NEXT GENERATION. It will feed your theatre-loving soul in all the right ways!" and The New York Times called it a “Pancake.”
Two nobodies dream of writing one hit song for everybody, but their day job composing jingles for commercials isn't the big break they hoped. That is, until they're plucked from obscurity by a world-famous pop star named Regina Comet (if destiny had a child, it would be her) and she wants them to create an anthem for her supernova pipes... and her new perfume. They're so close to the big-time they can smell it, but following your passion doesn't always lead where you expect. Making a hit song can be a shit-show.
The creative team for A Commercial Jingle for Regina Comet includes Alex Wyse and Ben Fankhauser (Book/Music/Lyrics), Marshall Pailet (Direction), Drama Desk Award winner Stephanie Klemons (Choreography), Lucille Lortel Award nominee Wilson Chin (Scenic Design), Antonyo Award winner Sarita Fellows (Costume Design), Aja M. Jackson (Lighting Design), Twi McCallum (Sound Design), Alex Goldie Golden (Music Director), and Hannah Woodward (Production Stage Manager).
A Commercial Jingle for Regina Comet is produced by Cody Lassen, joined by Kate Cannova, Fever, Sue Gilad & Larry Rogowsky, Chaz Naor, Jamie deRoy/Luigi Caiola, Samantha Squeri, David Lipowicz, Brad Blume, Jo-Ann Dean, Wayne H. Holland, III, Jamie Joeyen-Waldorf, Robert Laurita, Benny Lumpkins Jr., Philip Makara, and Raindrop Valley.
Tickets, starting at $59, can be purchased by visiting the DR2 Theatre box office (Tuesday – Sunday, 12pm - curtain), online at www.Telecharge.com, or by calling 800-447-7400. Running time is 80 minutes (half a Wicked), and plays the following schedule: Tuesdays at 7pm; Wednesdays at 7pm; Thursdays at 8pm; Fridays at 8pm; Saturdays at 3pm & 8pm; and Sundays at 3pm & 7pm.

New York, NY (November 2, 2021) – Megan Doyle and Creston Whittington announced today that Karen Dalton, a play with music written by Evan Enderle, will receive an industry reading on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at 3:00pm at The Flea’s Siggy Theater (20 Thomas Street), directed by Portia Krieger (Fun Home) with live guitar and banjo accompaniment.
Leading the cast of Karen Dalton is Erin Markey in the titular role, who is also joined by Erik Lochtefeld, Evangeline Young, Drama Desk Award nominee Will Connolly, and Bryce Michael Wood.
Bob Dylan's "favorite singer" was a hero on the folk music scene who died thinking she was a failure... only to become a sensation after her passing. From the Village revolution of the ‘60s to her deathbed in the ‘90s (and through a collection of iconic tunes from the American folk songbook), we unravel the fascinating mystery of Karen Dalton.
“We had our original reading on March 12, 2020, in what was possibly one of the last pieces of live theater performed before the shutdown. I am so excited to be bringing this back, this time with beloved New York performer Erin Markey leading us as Karen,” said producer Megan Doyle. Creston Whittington continued “Karen Dalton is having a resurgence of sorts, with a critically acclaimed documentary on her life having just been released. Our hope is that this play will help solidify her legacy for a new generation.”

BOOK DESCRIPTION
It began as an artist’s desperate desire to express himself inside a worldwide pandemic, but in one year’s time it has grown into a theater industry and country-wide outlet for healing, grief, justice, and hope in the theater community.
The Covid-19 pandemic revealed what a world without live performance looks and feels like. This book captures a small fraction of the powerful and transcendent internal heartbeat that never went away within the theater community. When The Lights Are Bright Again immortalizes the stories, struggles, and successes of an industry that was the first to be shut down and one of the last to return.
Andrew Norlen weaves more than 200 letters from Broadway theater veterans, devout theatergoers, teenage dreamers aching for their day in the spotlight, long-time ushers, designers, creatives, and countless other arts workers with a brand-new, breathtaking photo series by Broadway photographer Matthew Murphy.
Not only has the creation of this book allowed the theater community to grieve and express themselves in a new way, but for every copy purchased, a portion of the profits will directly benefit The Actors Fund. This book will continue to help support arts workers to thrive and maintain financial stability for decades to come with every copy sold.
When The Lights Are Bright Again is a love letter to the arts community and every theatergoer, but, above all else, it is a meditation on the human experience. There is something for every broken, tired, angry, and lost soul inside this book: hope.
There is light in all of us—there always has been!

THE FIRST NEW MUSICAL TO PREMIERE IN NYC SINCE THE SHUTDOWN BEGA
“A COMMERCIAL JINGLE FOR REGINA COMET”
EXTENDS OFF-BROADWAY
DUE TO POPULAR DEMAND
NOW PLAYING THROUGH NOVEMBER 21
AT THE DR2 THEATRE
PRODUCTION PHOTOS AVAILABLE HERE
New York, NY (October 18, 2021) – Due to popular demand, the producers of A Commercial Jingle for Regina Comet announced today that they are extending the run of the world premiere musical by a week – or 7/8ths of a Hannukah – and it will now play its final performance on Sunday, November 21st at 7:00 pm at the DR2 Theatre (103 East 15th Street).
The production has been playing to sold out audiences and critical acclaim since beginning performances on September 17th and is the first new musical to premiere in New York since the pandemic began. A Commercial Jingle for Regina Comet features book, music, and lyrics by Alex Wyse (Indoor Boys) and Ben Fankhauser (Newsies), with direction by Marshall Pailet (Baghdaddy, Triassic Parq) and stars Wyse, Fankhauser and Bryonha Marie Parham (Prince of Broadway.)
The Asbury Park Press describes the show as "A MUCH-NEEDED ESCAPE! Forget about the world and laugh.” while Thearerly said it was the "[TITLE OF SHOW] FOR THE NEXT GENERATION.
“It really speaks volumes to the team’s talent and hard work that we have, in a tiny downtown theatre, like the little engine that could, been able to open amongst the behemoths on Broadway and still pack the seats and play to standing ovations every night.” said Producer Cody Lassen. “It’s encouraging to see audiences in NYC coming back to the theatre and their hunger for new musicals and to hear them laugh and applaud eight times a week. What New Yorkers want right now is a fun night out they are finding that with our show.”
The creative team for A Commercial Jingle for Regina Comet includes Alex Wyse and Ben Fankhauser (Book/Music/Lyrics), Marshall Pailet (Direction), Drama Desk Award winner Stephanie Klemons (Choreography), Lucille Lortel Award nominee Wilson Chin (Scenic Design), Antonyo Award winner Sarita Fellows (Costume Design), Aja M. Jackson (Lighting Design), Twi McCallum (Sound Design), Alex Goldie Golden (Music Director), and Hannah Woodward (Production Stage Manager).
A Commercial Jingle for Regina Comet is produced by Cody Lassen, joined by Kate Cannova, Fever, Sue Gilad & Larry Rogowsky, Chaz Naor, Jamie deRoy/Luigi Caiola, Samantha Squeri, David Lipowicz, Brad Blume, Jo-Ann Dean, Wayne H. Holland, III, Jamie Joeyen-Waldorf, Robert Laurita, Benny Lumpkins Jr., Philip Makara, and Raindrop Valley.

OPENING NIGHT SET FOR SUNDAY, OCTOBER 10
New York, NY (October 5, 2021) – Super Secret Arts released today a first look at production photos for the world premiere site-specific production Back & Forth, available for download here.
A new play written by Richard Hollman, Back & Forth will be performed in Central Park’s East Meadow, hidden among your everyday park-goes. Featuring two actors, two gloves, a baseball, and an audience equipped with headphones to observe and eavesdrop at their leisure, Back & Forth will play its game of catch over three weekends this fall, beginning this Thursday, October 7, with an official Opening Night on Sunday, October 10.
It’s just a conversation until you catch on. Back & Forth is the story of two old friends reuniting for the first time since a forced period of extended social isolation (yes, that period of social isolation) and discovering that despite having felt basically immobile for the past 18 months, quite a lot has changed.
Audience members will receive an email 24 hours before their performance telling them where to enter the park and how to recognize the house manager, who will advise them on how to tune in to the show and where they may want to sit, though ultimately the audience will decide how they want to observe this particular game of catch.
Directed by Katie Young, the cast of Back & Forth features Richard Hollman and Chris Roberti. The Production Stage Manager is Helen Thornton.
The show will play the following schedule: Thursday, October 7 – Sunday, October 10, at 5:30pm; Thursday, October 14 – Sunday, October 17, at 5:30pm; and Thursday, October 21 – Sunday, October 24 at 5:00pm.
